Matthew Stephen Tompkins
Matthew Stephen Tompkins (Anthony) has acted in over 50 plays on the stages of New York, Seattle, and Dallas, and is thrilled to be making his second appearance with Circle Theatre having played Adam in Somone Who'll Watch Over Me. Matt is fresh from playing the Creature in Stage West's smash production of Monster and is a four time Dallas Theatre Critics Forum Award Winner for Best Actor. His favorite roles include Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire, the title role in Othello, King Herod in Salome, Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses at Classic Theatre Company, Lennie in Of Mice and Men, King Henry II in Becket and Polo in A Hatful of Rain at 11th Street Theatre, Colin Parker in Martin Crimp's No One Sees the Video at Theatre Quorum, Dim in A Clockwork Orange, Steamengineman in Mamet's The Water Engine at WickerPlane Theatre and over 40 televison and film roles. Matthew is pleased to have starred in and co-produced the upcoming Sci-Fi thriller Radiant, to be released in the Spring of 2003.
