Circle Theatre holds a Community Conversation, again!

Back by popular demand, Circle Theatre will collaborate with Change The Perception to hold a Community Conversation on Wednesday, July 12th. Denise Lee, star in Circle's last production - Rasheeda Speaking, and founder of Change the Perception, will lead the event.

About Change the Perception

Change The Perception was born out of Denise’s desire to challenge the negative stereotypes in mainstream media that plague men of color. It has since evolved into a platform that opens the door to civil and respectful conversations around race, bigotry, violence and privilege. Our Community Conversation gathering is meant to bridge the divide between communities and devise steps to bring about real change.

About the Event - Community Conversation

Join us for Change the Perception’s ongoing conversation of community, race and other topics. We hope to help examine and change our perception of others in order to grow closer as a community of people trying to make the world a better place. No panels, just open, honest, respectful conversation to help us understand not just each other but ourselves. ALL ARE INVITED!

Here's a short video (from our last Community Conversation in May) describing what to expect:
