Ada Lynn



Ada Lynn (Aida Gianelli) as a child, she was in the Our Gang Comedies, with Spanky, Darla, Alfalfa - as a tap dancer-singer. She starred with Shirley Temple in Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm and Heidi. Toured in vaudeville as Little Miss Everybody - The Curvaceous Clown as a featured performer doing impersonation's, comedy, singing and tap dancing. She did solo engagements for the U.S.O., The Capitol and Loew's Theatres in New York and the nightclub circuit which included the Last Frontier and the Thunderbird Hotels in Las Vegas. Television credits include appearances with Jackie Gleason, Milton Berle, Ed Sullivan, etc. She came to Dallas to appear at the State Festival Musicals with Billy Gilbert in Desert Song. There she met Sidney Lynn, they married and raised four children (two grandchildren.) She has been seen in many area Theatres including Theatre Three, Casa Mañana, and Garland Civic Theatre. She is thrilled to be doing such a delightful show, again, with talented colleagues, and such a marvelous director, René Moreno, and her revered friend and leader, Rose Pearson.
