Richard Zavaglia
Richard Zavaglia (Frank Gianelli) is proud to make his Texas stage debut at Circle Theatre. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He is representated by the Mary Collins Agency. Broadway credits include Neil Simon's Chapter Two and Passione. Off Broadway credits include: Coming of Age in Soho, Galileo, The Guardsman and Tally's Folly. He starred in Breaking Legs at the Pasadena Playhouse, in California, and won the Dramalogue Best Actor Award for his performance. Other stage credits include: Spotlight, Championship Season, Self Storage, Uptown, and Detective Story (earning him another Best Actor Award) and most recently Wet Weather Cover. He co-starred with Bernie Koppell in Rumors, which ran for one year. Film credits include: Where Sleeping Dogs Lie, The Fan, Dog Day Afternoon, Apology, Bird, Me and the Kid, Donnie Brasco, Dog Watch, Ricochet River, True Friends, and Justice. He has appeared in numerous episodic television shows, such as NYPD Blue, L.A. Law, Matlock, Veronica's Closet, Murphy Brown, Lois and Clark, and Becker.
