Fuddy Meers
Written by David Lindsay Abaire
First preview January 24
Opening January 27 – February 24
Meet Claire, a psychogenic amnesiac who loses her memory
every night when she goes to sleep. Things go really awry
when a furtive, limping, lisping half-deaf man in a ski
mask kidnaps her. Other characters we meet along the way
are her husband, who will stop at nothing to get her back;
her overgrown eighth grade son who has issues of his own;
her mother who speaks in “stroke-talk”; an ex-convict with
a foul mouthed puppet; and an intense female cop. (R rating)
A wacky comedy that proves no family dysfunction is
insurmountable.

Three Tall Women
Written by Edward Albee
First preview September 5
Opening September 8 – October 6
Think of the final scene in Kubrick’s 2001 – A Space
Odyssey, in which the aging astronaut lives out his days
in an elegantly furnished room, and you’ve got a good
picture of this late, great Albee opus. The playwright
openly admits this play was his way of working out his
complex feelings toward his adoptive mother who, in his
words, he knew “from my infancy until her death over sixty
years later" (PG rating)

wit and faith.
