PRODUCTION ASSISTANT + STAGE MANAGEMENT

+ RUN CREW INTERNSHIP

 

This internship gives you the opportunity to assist the Stage Management team during rehearsals and to be on the running crew for the entire run of the production. You will be expected to work every rehearsal and performance for the show(s) you are assigned. 

​

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring and reporting attendance, recording blocking and/or line notes, tracking costume/prop/scene changes, and running various errands on behalf of the stage manager/production crew. 

​

There will be a $200 stipend at the end of the run and you will be eligible to join the Actor’s Equity EMC program, where you would accrue weeks toward your union membership.  All dates and times are subject to change based on run time of show.

 

​*Notes - You cannot participate as a production and box office intern in the same time slot.  This job can be physical and you might be expected to lift or move scenery for rehearsals and during performances. Once performances begin, interns will serve as backstage crew members.

 

Requirements:
 

  – Must attend all rehearsals and performances on time
  – May be required to attend up to two production meetings
  – Must have a background in theatre
  – College degree is a plus but not required
  – Please let us know if you do not have access to a vehicle as running errands is a part of this position

  • Run of Show: 2/1 - 2/24 || Thursdays + Fridays 6PM - 11:00PM; Saturdays 2PM - 11PM


WATER BY THE SPOONFUL:

  • Rehearsals: 2/26 - 3/14 || Mondays - Fridays

  • Tech Week: 3/15 - 3/16 || Evenings & Full Weekends 

  • Dress Rehearsals: 3/18 - 3/20 II Long Nights

  • Run of Show: 3/21 - 4/13 || Thursdays + Fridays 6PM - 11:00PM; Saturdays 2PM - 11PM

  • Rehearsals: 5/6 - 5/30 || Mondays - Fridays

  • Tech Week: 5/31 - 6/1 || Evenings & Full Weekends 

  • Dress Rehearsals: 6/3 - 6/5 II Long Nights

  • Run of Show: 6/6 - 7/6 || Thursdays + Fridays 6PM - 11:00PM; Saturdays 2PM - 11PM

 

TARTUFFE:

  • Rehearsals: 7/8 - 7/25 || Mondays - Fridays

  • Tech Week: 7/26 - 7/27 || Evenings & Full Weekends 

  • Dress Rehearsals: 7/29 - 7/31 II Long Nights

  • Run of Show: 8/1 - 8/24 || Thursdays + Fridays 6PM - 11:00PM; Saturdays 2PM - 11PM

 

THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY:

  • Rehearsals: 9/9 - 9/26 || Mondays - Fridays
