AUDITION DETAILS

AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD IN PERSON AT CIRCLE THEATRE ON DECEMBER 14: 12:30PM - 6:30PM

DECEMBER 15: 6:30PM - 10:30PM 

Callbacks are scheduled December 17, times TBD.

  • BENJAMIN COFFIN III - he/him; any ethnicity; the landlord and opportunist; Mark and Roger’s landlord and former roommate.

  • MIMI MÁRQUEZ - she/her; Person of Color; the dancer and addict; She lives in the same building as Mark and Roger, Benny is her landlord.

  • ANGEL DUMOTT SCHUNARD - he/him and she/her; any ethnicity; the optimist and lover; a vibrant street percussionist and eccentric drag queen

  • MAUREEN JOHNSON - she/her; any ethnicity; the artist and provocateur; an avant-garde and radical performance artist

  • JOANNE JEFFERSON - she/her; any ethnicity; the advocate and realist; A public interest lawyer who is smart, purposeful, and grounded in all her decisions.

3. AUDITION MATERIALS

• Provided music sides for each role can be found below. Please prepare the music side(s) for the character(s) that you are most interested in auditioning for.

• PLEASE NOTE: Sides are music cuts from the show, you may choose to accompany yourself with an instrument of your choice, notated on your Airtable form. An accompanist will also be present.

• Auditions may or may not sing multiple sides.

• We suggest being familiar with the script beforehand.

PARKING: 
 

  • The City Center Garage 2 is now Circle Theatre’s preferred parking garage. 

    • Address: 401 Calhoun Street, Fort Worth TX 76102

      • This garage is free after 6:00pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. 

      • The main entrance is on the left hand side coming down Calhoun Street.​

  • Metered Street Parking is free all day on weekends and after 6:00pm on weekdays.
    ​

IMPORTANT PARKING CHANGES:

  • THE TOWER GARAGE IS NO LONGER OFFERING FREE PARKING AT ANY TIME.

  • SUNDANCE SQUARE GARAGE #3 NO LONGER offers free night or weekend parking. ​​

    • Address: 345 W 3rd Street, Fort Worth TX 76102

    • In order to do so, you must request a validation ticket from us upon your visit to the theater.

    • Circle Theatre can only validate up to 2.5 hours of parking in Garage #3.
