An Update from Executive Director, Tim Long
Dear Circle Theatre Community,
Thank you for your continued support. There is a lot of momentum at Circle right now. RENT opened this past weekend to an incredible response, and this Sunday we will host our annual High School Playwriting Project, a free public event celebrating young playwrights and their work.
I have some important updates to share about Circle Theatre’s 2026 season. We are excited to partner with Uptown Players to coproduce Jagged Little Pill. The musical will now run in Dallas first before heading to our basement theatre, August 5 - 28, 2027.
This partnership allows us to elevate the production and create something truly special for Circle audiences.
As part of the revised season schedule, I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire and The Leopard Play will shift out of 2026.
Circle will close the year with Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Scrooge in Rouge, two productions full of music, comedy, and celebration. Ain’t Misbehavin’, the vibrant musical revue celebrating the music of Fats Waller and the exuberance of the Harlem Renaissance, returns to Circle Theatre by popular demand, moving from the Velvet Lounge to the mainstage for a joy-filled run October 1 - 25, 2026. Scrooge in Rouge is a fast-paced, offbeat musical comedy where three performers attempt to pull off A Christmas Carol with increasingly unpredictable results, bringing holiday mayhem up close in the Velvet Lounge, November 19 - December 12, 2026.
Information for Our Season Ticket Holders
