As part of our new Professional Training Program, we are thrilled to invite Award-winning director, fight & intimacy director, and teaching artist, Ashley H. White to lead her Theatrical Intimacy Training Workshops at Circle Theatre.
White will teach a three-night workshop on Theatrical Intimacy. This must-take class for actors, directors, teachers, and theatre professionals, will explore performing varying levels of intimacy in acting and the physical impacts of emotional connections while teaching safe, dynamic, and repeatable techniques.
Topics will include The Cycle of Consent, Ashley’s original methodology for creating and maintaining spaces that prioritize safety and empower creativity, as well as Tools for Performing and Choreographing Staged Intimacy.
These are a series of three one-night workshops each teaching a different aspect of theatrical intimacy. Our recommendation is to take all three classes, but you can opt to take one or two nights of the workshop. Space is limited and can be reserved here.
